The champions of Italy had much tougher job in rematch of the Playoffs 6 after pravailing 3-0 in the first leg.

The Russian runners-up, although without Dmitriy Muserskiy in line-up due to injury (entered only as substitution), provided an amazing resistance to the guests and missed huge opportunity in Set 3 (8-5) to take 2-1 lead and make things very complicated for Trentino! Since they did not do it, Italian team did it and, already then, secured spot at the F4.

In the tie-break, coach of Trentino, Radostin Stoytchev, gave chance to several substitutes, including Filippo Lanza, who finally played an entire set after a month and a half of a slow recovery.

Reception (64% – 41%) was the key factor in win of Trentino in which Slovenian Tine Urnaut stood out with 18 points. Roman Danilov scored 19 in Belogorie.
