Unfortunately for all volleyball fans from all over the world this is her last season. She wants to start a life of an ordinary woman.
“I will start the life of an ordinary woman, I won’t be an athlete anymore. The club knows my decision. But, firstly, I need to complete this season successfully. When we talk about national season I will talk to the head coach Yuri Marichev to give me more time to rest and a little more time to get ready for national team’s challenges. I have problems with my feet and I’m playing usually after taking the injections. I hope he will understand me because my mission is to be a useful team member at the Olympics” says Sokolova.
