Dinamo Kazan revealed on their website names of the teams that will compete in the next season of the Russian Women’s Superleague.
The biggest change in comparison to the previous season is that there will be no Omichka in the 2016/17 campaign, as the club went into bankruptcy, while they will be replaced by Sachalin, a team that won the 1st place in the Russian Second Division.
These are the teams that will play in the 2016/17 season of Suprleague.
Dinamo Moscow, Uralochka, Dinamo Kazan, Dinamo Krasnodar, Zarechie, Proton, Enisey, Lenigradka, Voronezh, Metar, Sachalin.
Also, it is important to mention that the Russian Superleague will get back to the old format with Regular Season (20 rounds), while the 8 best teams will advance to the Playoffs.
