Although volleyball tournament at Olympic Games 2016 will start on August 6, Russia women’s volleyball team will travel to Rio de Janeiro few days earlier.

As people from Russian Volleyball Federation said, team of coach Yuri Marichev will travel on July 28 and the final roster will be announced 25-26 July.
In Rio, Russia will play in the same group with Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Argentina and Cameroon.
