Experienced libero confirmed for R-Sport that he will sit at the bench of Zenit Kazan in the Russian Cup match against Yaroslavich.
“I was told that I will be the head coach of Zenit Kazan in the game vs. Yaroslavich. Vladimir Alekno will be my assistant and he will supervise my work.”
Recall that Alekno has already revealed that Alexey Verbov will be both a player and a coach in Zenit Kazan during the 2016/17 season.
