Zenit Kazan
This defeat is very painful for Belogorie as they suffered third defeat out of four matches since the beginning of the Super League. As we have written in a preview of this game, everything except the win of home team would be a great surprise.
It was seventh consecutive win of Alekno’s side over Belogorie. Zenit KAZAN opened game by winning the first set 25-19, while in the second set, Belogorie managed to make comeback.
Third set was uncertain until the result 17:17, but Leon & co. started playing with the full throttle and won this part of the match. In the fourt, we saw a big domination of reigning champions!
Leon was the top scorer of the game with 22 points, while Mikhailov added 16, Anderson 12 and Volvich 11. On the other side, Muserskiy and Smolyar ended game with 11 points each.
