Bulgarian coach Plamen Konstantinov obviously re-arranged dices in his team perfectly since Lokomotiv have 4-0 score at the start of Superliga and is the only club besides Zenit Kazan with perfect record so far.
Lokomotiv downed Nova Novokuybishevsk 3-1 (25-16, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19) in Round 4. Slovakian-born Lukáš Diviš scored 21 points for the winners while Nikita Alekseev showed a huge performance in Nova with 30 points.
Strongly reinforced Kuzbass Kemerovo are another pleasent surprise at the start of the Russian Championship. They achieved third win by beating Fakel Novy Urengoy at home 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 27-25) thanks to another monstrous game by a player loaned from Zenit, Viktor Poletaev – 35 points! Egor Kliuka scored 16 for Fakel.
