“I spoke with Stoychev three weeks ago and he said that no one contacted him. Maybe something has changed in the meantime. Generally, many rumors about the new head coach that you read in the Russian press are simply not true. I even do not know if the Russian Volleyball Federation considers appointing a foreign coach. If they do consider that option than Stoychev, who speaks Russian, is a good candidate,” said Alekno.
