After the untimely death of Sergei Ovchinnikov Dynamo authorities have decided to hire a Serbian trainer Svetlana Ilic. “It is my great honor to be selected by the Dynamo. It’s an amazing challenge and a new chapter in my life” commented Ilic.
Before IV Memorial Agata Mroz-Olszewska Svetlana Ilic trained with the team just a few days. “Thank you to my team for a lot of help and a great atmosphere” said Svetlana Ilic – “All teams are now in preparation, but I think it presented a really nice volleyball. I hope the fans are happy. I’m certainly happy with the game and the outcome of the tournament. We are on the right track. However, the most important event is a good cause. We all remember the Agata. She was incredibly and talented volleyball and women with a big heart. The great thing is that the volleyball event is combined with the promotion of blood and bone marrow transplantation”.
“Of course I’m happy with the tournament, especially with the win” said Russian team captain Natasa Osmokrovic “It was a very important test before the league and a good rubbing against the League Champions“.
After a heavy situation that survivors Dynamo Natasa Osmokrovic believe that the team, led by a new coach will play a good season. “With a new coach at the beginning is always difficult but I know it will become better and better.We need to improve a lot of things as a play, block and defense. We have full confidence in the coach, who has an idea for our team and knows what to do. I am sure that this season under the guidance of a new trainer will be very successful”.
