It is official. The Russian Volleyball Federation has said NO to foreign coaches when it comes to their women’s national team. This was confirmed by General Manager of the Russian Volleyball Federation Vladislav Fadeev.
“The Council of the Russian Volleyball Federation will meet on December 8. By that time we will have two candidates of which one will be later named as the new head coach of women’s national team. Foreigners will not be eligible for this position. We only consider domestic coaches, but I cannot reveal you any name right now,” said Fadeev.
