Zenit Kazan
Zenit Kazan is one of the most dominant teams in volleyball history in Europe. They beat Dinamo Krasnodar today to continue their impressive run in domestic league and to finish 2016 very successfully 3-0 (25-13, 25-16, 25-17).
Aleksey Verbov replaced Vladimir Alekno on the bench of Zenit for today’s game and he led the team to the victory, even though he couldn’t count on help of Matt Anderson (went home for holidays), Maxim Mikhailov and Alexander Butko (rested).
It seemed that Leon (10 points) was enough for the win but on the other side we have to single out Zemchenok (14 points) and Melnik (11 points), while Gutsalyk added 10.
Zenit now have 13-0 score in the league. Dinamo Moscow and Lokomotiv Novosibirsk have also score victories and they now have 11-2 score each.
