Belogorie – Zaksa
Never underestimate mighty Belogorie! That is the lesson Zaksa learned this Wednesday evening. The Polish crew stormed through the opening set, but they eventually ended up empty-handed in Belgorod.
Simply because Belogorie played a stunning game.
The home side did not lose hope after losing the 1st set by 25:13! They bounced back immediately and won the following three sets for the win of 3-1. It means that the Russian club will need to win two sets in the rematch to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Dmitriy Muserskiy was superb this evening as he made 23 points for Belogorie. On the other side, Sam Deroo scored 21 points for Zaksa.
