Spiridonov accused journalists of sharing misinformation in regard to his suspension but member of the Disciplinary Commission of the Russian federation, Mikhail Podlozniy, confirmed it is true.
“The decision should be taken by the Executive Committee, while we (the Disciplinary Commission) only can recommend it,” said Podlozniy.
The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian VF, at which the decision will be taken, will be held next week. The exact date has not yet been determined. Earlier, the Disciplinary Commission fined Spirik with 10,000 rubles and recommended that he should be conditionally disqualified for a year.
Ex-Russian NT member Spiridonov firstly received a yellow card for discipline violation and then was removed from the court for being rude with the referees. It all occurred in the Superliga – Round 24 match against Yugra-Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk, on March 18.
