Fakel Novy Urengoy have won the 2016/17 CEV Challenge Cup after beating Chaumont for the 2nd time in the Finals.

Recall that the Russian side won the 1st leg on the road by 3-1, while this Sunday they triumphed at home court by the same result and seized the precious trophy.

This is the 2nd European trophy for Fakel. They won the 2006/07 Challenge Cup (back then it was called CEV Cup) and now the 2016/17 Challenge Cup.
