Recall that Poletaev was not included into the wide roster of Russia men’s national team for the upcoming summer due to his knee injury.

“There is a small problem with my knee, so the doctors recommended to give it a rest. They told me that my knee is simply tired and that I should not play volleyball for a while. Still, as the MRI showed that there is no serious damage, I have already prepared a special program to start strengthening my knee. I will not need to undergo surgery,” said Poletaev.
