Khtey (No. 4)

Taras Khtey has retired from volleyball! His pro career lasted for 19 years, as he made his first appearance in the volleyball world back in 1998 in the jersey of MGTU Moscow. He spent his entire career in Russia where he played for 5 different clubs – MGTU Moscow (1998-2003), Dinamo Moscow (2003-2005), Ural Ufa (2005-2006), Iskra Odintsovo (2006-2008) and Belogorie Belgorod (2008-2017).

Khtey has won plenty of trophies during all these years, while the most valuable one is definitely the gold medal from 2012 London Olympics.

Taras Khtey will remain in the volleyball world, as he became the Sports Director of Belogorie Belgorod
