The pool winners of the semi-final stage, Zenit Kazan from Pool A, Kuzbass Kemerovo from Pool B and Lokomotiv Novosibirsk from Pool C, secured their berth in the Final Four of the Russian Cup and joined the organizers Belogorie.
Zenit Kazan made a 3-0 record in their pool, beating Enisey Krasnoyarsk in straight sets in the last round, partially 25-15, 25-22, 25-19. Matt Anderson highlighted Zenit with 13 points.
In Pool B, in a direct duel for the first place and a spot in the F4, Kuzbass defeated Zenit Sankt Peterburg 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-14, 25-21) thanks to 22 points from Viktor Poletaev. Interestingly, Dinamo Moscow finished at the bottom of the pool rankings with 0-3!
Finally, Lokomotiv defeated Dinamo Leningradskaya Oblast in four sets, partially 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 26-24, to claim a ticket for the Final Four. Lukáš Diviš scored 17 points for the winning side.
