After parting ways with both setters from this season’s roster, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk acted quickly in the volleyball transfer market to find their replacements.
The starting setter of the one-time CEV Champions League winners for the 2018/19 will be the Pole Fabian Drzyzga, who currently came to a step from winning the title in Greece with Olympiacos S.F.P.
Drzyzga’s backup for the upcoming season is going to be Maksim Shulgin, who has just won the silver medal in the Russian Superliga with Zenit Sankt-Peterburg.
Lokomotiv also hired Nikolay Apalikov, veteran middle blocker from Kuzbass Kemerovo.
