Last night Serbian team did a first training at the sport hall “Čair”.
“I’m glad we will play our matches in Niš and I sincerely hope that we will have the support of the public because it would mean a lot to us. The advantage over other teams is that we will play in our country and in front of our audience. It’s a difficult period for us because it`s the New Year`s holiday and it`s hard to have a concentration on high level like in the months during the season. Most importantly is to prepare our minds for this tournament and important matches. Medals from the European Championships and the great parties in the World League will mean nothing if we do not pass to the World Championship. That would be a really big failure.” said Aleksandar Atanasiević opposite of Serbian team.
