On Tuesday afternoon they will host Russia’s Dinamo KRASNODAR in the third round of Europe’s elite competition and at least on paper the two-time winners of the CEV Volleyball Cup seem to be the heavy favourites of this clash. The players of Dinamo KRASNODAR recently claimed their last match in the Russian Superleague coming back from 6-13 in the decisive tie-break with Dinamo KAZAN

The most experienced player on the roster of Vizura BEOGRAD, Sladjana Eric, said while addressing the national media on the eve of the match with Dinamo: “We have been following their matches in the Russian national league, especially the last one and we had plenty of time to get ready for this match. About their game: there is no need to spend too many words because six of them play in the Russian national team, which means that they have a high-quality team. Against Dinamo KRASNODAR we should play clever, with courage and determination. We have to leave our hearts out on the court. We have nothing to lose. We play at home, in front of our fans. We have the desire and will to win. We hope that tomorrow the audience will be our seventh player.

On the other hand, head coach Dragutin Baltic  believes that his young team has the quality to cause another sensation after edging KOHILA VC of Estonia in the previous round: “Russian Volleyball is really strong, they have a lot of good players and some of those on the roster of Dinamo play in the national team. We have scouted them; their game is based on three players. Dinamo KRASNODAR have been trying for a few years to win the Russian national league but they never succeeded in doing so. This year they made it to the Champions League and after these two matches, it will be us or them to progress to the group stage. I’d like it to be us but we’ll see. We can play well against them because we have the quality to do so. We are a young team but with a big heart. I believe that the girls will give their  best and that we will manage to win in the end.”
