Brazil remains undefeated after the third day of the South American Championship. Brazil defeated Chile 3-0 (11-25, 19-25, 14-25). Beatriz Novoa of Chile was the top scorer of the match with 15 points. Ana Cristina Menezes Oliveira De Souza and Lorenne Geraldo Teixeira with 14 points each were the best scorers for the Brazilian side.
In their second appearance, Argentina achieved an important victory in the match against Peru 3-0, (25-18, 25-17, 25-22). Argentines Erika Mercado and Daniela Simian Bulaich were the best scorers of the match with 12 points each. On the Peruvian side, Katherine Regalado scored 11 points.
