Sada Cruzeiro secured its tenth South American Clubs Championship title in Blumenau by defeating Argentina’s Ciudad Voley in a convincing 3-0 match (25-16, 25-11, 25-13). The final, part of the 34th edition of the tournament, saw participation from nine teams representing five countries and culminated in front of a packed audience of over 2,500 fans at the Galegão gymnasium.
López of Sada Cruzeiro, scoring 17 points, was the final’s top scorer and was named MVP. The tournament also saw teams securing spots for the upcoming FIVB World Championship, with both finalists earning their tickets a day before the grand finale.
In the third-place match, Farma Conde overcame Apan/Roll-on with a 3-1 victory, taking bronze. The final standings saw Sada Cruzeiro at the top, followed by Ciudad Voley and Farma Conde.
