In the final day of the South American Women’s Club Championship group stage, defending champions Dentil/Praia Clube secured the top spot in Group A with a 3-0 victory over Peru’s Regatas Lima (25-15, 25-18, 25-14). Following suit, Gerdau Minas triumphed over San Martín de Bolivia with straight sets (25-10, 25-13, 25-20), setting the stage for the semi-finals in Bauru.
The first match will see Uruguay’s team facing San Martin de Bolivia for fifth place. The semi-finals will kick off with Gerdau Minas going up against Regatas Lima, followed by local team Sesi Bauru versus Dentil/Praia. The battle for third place and the championship final will take place on Sunday, February 18th.
