The group stage of 12th Men’s Pan American Cup is over and Cuba and Argentina have qualified directly to semifinals.

As the winners of the Pools, they directly went to the semis while the Dominican Republic will face Canada and Puerto Rico will play against the USA for the second two places in semifinals.

Results of Day 3

Pool A

Mexico – Dominican Republic  1-3 (23-25, 25-17, 17-25, 18-25). Top scorers: Garay 11, Gonzalo Ruiz 11; Pedro Garcia 21, Elvis Contreras 16, Wilfrido Hernandez 15.

USA – Cuba 2-3 (26-24, 21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 11-15). Top scorers: B. Sander 9, Greene 9, Wieczorek 9, Seif 9; Gutierrez 30, Lopez 14.

Pool B

Puerto Rico – Venezuela 3-2 (25-19, 17-25, 25-17, 25-27, 16-14). Top scorers: Torres 19, Sequiel Sanchez 14; Emerson Rodriguez 31, Edson Valencia 17.

Canada – Argentina 0-3 (25-27, 23-25, 11-25). Top scorers: Schouten 9, Brar 9; Bruno Lima 11, Ramos 7, Solé 7.
