Organizers of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Group 1 Finals have presented the mascot of teh tournement in Nanjing.

The FIVB World Grand Prix Group 1 Finals mascot is a yellow duck named “Pengpeng”. The design came from traditional Chinese culture and in ancient Chinese language, the pronunciation of duck is similar to ‘jia’ which means a good sign of distinguished achievement. The duck is also the symbol of Nanjing.

Event merchandise including shirts, bags, badges, and bracelets was also presented at the press conference by the local organizing committee.
