Halkbank
Luckily for Halkbank’s fans, everything went well for their team. It was a stunning five-set thriller in which Halkbank led twice in the game and in the tie-break, they managed to beat the hosts.
We were witnessing a crazy tie-break between Arhavi and Maliye Piyango. Believe it or not, two sides played 54 points in the fifth set. Local fans, if you missed this, you are regretting now since it was a real volleyball show.
Jhon Wendt led Maliye Piyango to the win with 24 points, while his teammate Ibrahim Yucel had 21. In the home team, Ian Iereschenko ended a game with 23 points.
Oliver Venno had an amazing display in a three-set win over Inegol! The Estonian volleyball player scored 28 points.
Arkas have also scored a victory, beating Afyon in four sets. Yigit Gulmezoglu ended a game with 24 points, while Adis Lagumdzija added 18 points. In Afyon, Mihajlo Stankovic had 17 points.
Istanbul BBSK had to play five sets to defeat Belediye Plevne, that was led by Okelo Daudi, who scored 31 points, while on the winning side Burak Gungor had 26.
