TUR M: Daudi Okello top scorer of the round, 8 aces for Turgay Dogan!

A few players have marked the second round of the Turkish men’s volleyball championship.

In a derby of the round, Halkbank defeated Fenerbahce easily in straight sets 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-11). The Serbian opposite Drazen Luburic was the best scorer with 16 points.

The top scorer of the round was Daudi Okello, who scored 29 points in a defeat of his team against Arkas sport! In Maliye Piyango’s win, Wendt has ended game with 28 points, while Metin Toy led Istanbul BBSK with 27 points against Arhavi, that was led by Roman Danilov who score 27 points.

Turgay Dogan (Jeopark Kula) had an amazing performance from the service line, scoring 8 aces against Galatasaray. However, his team lost the game in the tie-break. Also, Danilov from Arhavi had a good display from the service line, finishing with 7 aces.

Arkas’ player Hasan Sikar had 6 blocks in a game against Tokat, which made him the top blocker of the round!

Jeopark Kula Bld – Galatasaray 2-3 (21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 27-25, 17-19)

Top scorers: Stern 24, Dogan 22 (8 aces), Jekic 22 – Aydin 21, Venno 20 (5 aces), Siratca 17

Inegol Bld – Agyon Bld 1-3 (25-18, 23-25, 23-25, 19-25)

Top scorers: Van Walle 18 points, Cacic 15, Marshall 14 – Klapwijk 20, Stankovic 17, Smith 12

Maliye Piyango – Ziraat Bankasi 3-1 (25-15, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17)

Top scorers: Wendt 28, Bruno 13, Yucel 11, Durmay 10 – Finger 16, Savas 11

Arkas Spor – Tokat Bld. Plevne 3-2 (22-25, 20-25, 25-15, 25-18, 15-11)
