Fenerbahçe Opet prevented VakıfBank from defending the national Cup trophy by beating them in a marathon semifinal encounter at the well-packed Atatürk-Vestel Venus hall in the city of İzmir by a 3-2 (17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 29-31, 15-13). Hande Baladın collected 25 points (three aces) for Galata.

Amazing game. Vargas despite best score still seem like unbrushed diamond, which can be even better. I hope coach Terzic could see that. Eda Erdem is also true capitan, not just in ranks but she make joy in team. Antonijevic could also save some net balls, like Ognjenovic normally does. Looking forward to the Finale. Ezaci is very ‘beatable’.
