TUR W: Buša to complement Serbian colony in Fenerbahçe

The five-time Turkish women’s volleyball champions Fenerbahçe Opet are about to gather the Serbian colony in the team.

In addition to showing interest in the Serbian middle blocker Stefana Veljković, Fenerbahçe are allegedly aiming to hire her compatriot Bianka Buša. The 25-year-old outside hitter spent the last season in Romania, wearing the jersey of CSM Volei Alba-Blaj. Buša was involved in winning three super-major titles of the Serbia National Team in the last three years (2017 and 2019 CEV EuroVolley and 2018 FIVB Club World Championship).

Given that the Istanbul side already has two more members of the Serbian National Team (head coach Zoran Terzić and outside hitter Brankica Mihajlović, who are likely to stay in the club for one more season), it’s on a way to have a real colony of Serbian players in the team for the 2020/21 season.

Is this Terzic’s idea? If this transfer do happen, Terzic have more time with Busa. Good for Serbia for the 2021 olympics
