The Italian side Imoco announced the contract renewal with a player that has been their member since 2013 – De Gennaro.
The 33-year-old libero was recently elected to the ideal line-up of the last decade by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). In recent years “Moki” has claimed many individual awards, both with Imoco and the Italy National Team. She was awarded Best Libero at the 2014 and 2018 FIVB World Championship, MVP of the Italian league in 2019, MVP of the Italian Cup in 2017, Best Libero of the 2017 CEV Champions League, and of the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.
De Gennaro was involved in winning all of the important trophies in the history of Imoco: 3 Italian Championships, 1 FIVB Club World Championship, 3 Italian Super Cups, and 2 Italian Cups. She’s the player with the most appearances in the history of the Conegliano club: 269 games in 7 seasons.
