Two derbies were held in Round 15 of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship.

In a spectacular encounter in Istanbul, valid for the 15th round of the 2020/21 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season, Galatasaray HDI Sigorta surpassed Halkbank in the tie-break in the match that lasted for two hours and 21 minutes: 3-2 (25-17, 23-25, 25-23, 25-27, 15-9).

Puerto Rican Maurice Torres highlighted the winning side with 31 points. Selçuk Keskin and Doğukan Ulu made 4 blocks apiece. On the other side of the net, Cuban Fernando Hernández scored 22 points. Gökhan Gökgöz and Faik Samet Güneş set up 4 kill blocks apiece. Both Halkbank and Galatasaray are at 9-2, occupying the third and fourth position in the charts, respectively.

Ziraat Bankkart recorded the fourth successive win as they swept Spor Toto. The Dutch duo Wouter Ter Maat (21 points) and Maarten van Garderen (6 blocks) on the winning side dominated the match.

Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta (Nigerian Arinze Kelvin Nwachukwu 12 points) remained at the top of the charts with the 10th victory in a row.
