Vibo have put an end to the unbeaten run (8-0) of Lube in the 2020/21 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season and proved that the players of Italian, European, and world club champions aren’t from the other planet: 3-1 (25-23, 18-25, 25-20, 25-23).
The Frenchman Thibault Rossard (19 points, including 4 aces) and Enrico Cester (5 blocks) were the most deserved players for this incredible surprise in Round 11. Lube are still at the top of the classification with 2 points ahead of Sir Safety Conad Perugia, who played two games less than Lube. Vibo Valentia are at the excellent fourth place.
