Chiaka-Ogbogu
Voleybol Magazin learned that VakıfBank, who have just secured no.1 for the playoffs in the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi, reached an agreement in principle with an American middle blocker Chiaka Ogbogu. The fact that a 25-year-old player is currently a member of Eczacıbaşı VitrA – fierce home rivals of the ‘Yellow-and-Blacks’ – puts in extra flavor to this alleged transfer.
Eczacıbaşı already turned to find a replacement for Ogbogu, and it seems their pursuit ended it in Italy. Belgian Laura Heyrman from Saugella Monza is the main target of the ‘Tigers’.
