VakıfBank prevailed over Fenerbahçe Opet in a super-exciting Game 1 of the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship playoff finals.

The regular-season winners VakıfBank came back from 1-2 against the 2nd-seed Fenerbahçe in Game 1 of the 2020/21 Turkish Women’s Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi and took the lead in the series of 1-0. Partially, it was 25-16, 22-25, 18-25, 25-18, and 15-10 for the team commanded by Giovanni Guidetti.

Swede Isabelle Haak stood out on the winning side with 23 points, while Zehra Güneş set up 4 blocks. Cuban Melissa Vargas put down 23 points for Fenerbahçe. The 2nd game of the series is scheduled for April 13.
