It's hectic in the ranks of Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship silver medalists Fenerbahçe Opet.

The arrivals and departures occur on a daily basis in the ranks of the Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, the current Sultanlar Ligi vice-champions.

We already wrote of the signings of Russian wunderkind Arina Fedorovtseva and Serbian international Mina Popović. Fedorovtseva’s compatriot Anna Lazareva is a new reinforcement of the ’Yellow Angels’. A 24-year-old opposite hitter came from Korea’s IBK Industrial Bank Altos for which she excelled last season, having a couple of 40+ outputs and finishing the V-League season as the second top scorer with 867 points.

Sadly for Fenerbahçe fans, Lazareva came instead of Cuban (with Turkish citizenship) star Melissa Vargas to whom the Istanbul club said goodbye. American outside hitter Kelsey Robinson followed Vargas’ footsteps.

Fenerbahçe extended contracts with several important players, such as Naz Aydemir Akyol, Dicle Nur Babat, and Cansu Çetin.
