TUR W: Rašić leaves VakıfBank after 7 years

Milena Rašić, one of the most important members of VakıfBank for many years and a player who was involved in numerous title winnings of the Istanbul club, is a free agent.

The fans of VakıfBank have been accustomed to seeing Serbian middle blocker in the yellow and black jersey since 2014. Rašić played an important role in the success of the Turkish club with the 2,323 points she produced during the past 7 years. Rašić took part in taking the following VakıfBank’s trophies during this time: 2 FIVB Club World Championships, 2 CEV Champions Leagues, 4 Turkish Championships, 2 Turkish Cups, and 2 Turkish Super Cups.

Individually, A 30-year-old Serbian player was awarded Best Middle Blocker in the CEV Champions League 3 times, in the FIVB Club World Championship 2 times, and in the Turkish Championship one time.
