Halkbank made a lot of mistakes in the middle phase of the meeting. During the fourth set Halkbank was back on his feet and dominated in the tie-braek.

In the 2nd game of the day winner was decided in the 5th set also. Galatasaray won the first set, but then fell in the second set thanks to the bad day of Vladimir Nikolov (37% att., 8 suffered walls, 2 err.). After missing some match-point Arkas Spor IZMIR won the tie-break with 21-19.
