Turkey hired an experienced coach Emanuele Zanini, and the Italian chose these players for the following competition:
Setter: Ulaş Kıyak, Murat Yenipazar.
Opposite: Kemal Kıvanç Elgaz, Metin Toy.
Middle Blocker: Mustafa Koç, Emin Gök, Kemal Kayhan, Uğur Güneş.
Receiver: Gökhan Gökgöz, Emre Batur, Can Ayvazoğlu, Halil İbrahim Yücel.
Libero: Hasan Yeşilbudak.
Turkey is in group with Slovakia, France and Poland.
