Vakifbank vs Eczacibasi
Very strong opponent was in front of Guidetti’s girls on a breezy Thursday evening in Istanbul. But with all due respect towards amazing Eczacibasi squad, nothing matters when Vakifbank is playing versus you. Only question is weather you will lose by straight sets, or maybe snatch one.
Same story happened again. Vakif simply destroyed their biggest opponent in Turkish championship and showed them, that there is only one contender for the title in Turkey.
Eczacibasi got swept by straight sets at home 0-3 (22-25, 17-25, 20-25). Only chance to cause damage to Vakif, home team had in third set when Eczacibasi led by three points (10-7), but that didn’t last long. Until the second technical time out Vakif was back in the driving seat with 13-16 lead, which they easily turned into 20-25 and another, 57th victory in a row!
