Victories against others are considered to be priceless, and if you look only at derbies then Fenerbahce fans had the most joy in 2013. Fenerbahce faced Galatasaray 17 times in different sports (including volleyball) and has great score 12-5. Dark blue and yellows have even better result against Besiktas – 6 wins, one loss and one draw. In the clash of Galatasaray and Besiktas score is 9-1 for red and yellows.
But, is that really the most important thing? Many fans of Galatasaray will say NO, if they look at the trophies. Because Istanbul Lions won the football and basketball championship last year, two competitions in which fans rivalry is the fiercest.
We will see who will have the opportunity to cheer in 2014…
