The volleyball fans showed great interest in the exhibition. They took autographs from the players and joined them for memorable photo opportunities. The fans had the chance to see unbeaten VakıfBank’s unique collection of five trophies from the 2013 CEV Volleyball Champions League, the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship, the Turkish Acibadem Women’s League, the Teledunya Turkey Cup and Turkey’s Super Cup.
Volleyball fans in Istanbul overcrowded the Marmara Forum to see the VakıfBank players. There were thousands of visitors on the first day of the exhibition. The fans also had time to chat with the international volleyball stars and it turned to be a really fun day.
In its 2014 CEV DenizBank Champions League semifinal match on March 15 in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, VakifBank will face compatriots and city rivals from Eczacibasi VitrA. The other semifinal on that day will feature a duel between the home heroines of Rabita BAKU and Russia’s powerhouse Dinamo KAZAN. The bronze medal match and the decisive final will take place on the following day, March 16.
