The big star of women’s volleyball in the NORCECA region, Sinead Jack-Kısal, is now a player of Turkish nationality.
The player native to Trinidad and Tobago, Sinead Jack- Kısal, this season’s strong point of the leaders of the Turkish Championship, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit, has taken Turkish citizenship and the change of federation of origin has been approved by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). It means that the 29-year-old middle blocker (awarded as the best in her position in the 2013 NORCECA Championship and 2017 Pan American Cup) will be able to continue playing as a player of Turkish nationality.
Jack is married to the Turkish male volleyball player, Murathan Kısal, a former periodical member of his country’s national team who’s currently playing in the Turkish second-division side, Milas Belediye Spor. He proposed to Jack on the volleyball court in 2019 when they both played in Japan: he was in Voreas Hokkaido and she was at the Denso Airybees. Jack has been playing in Turkey, counting now, on three occasions: Galatasaray HDI Sigorta (2016 – 2018), İlbank (2020-21), and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit (2022-?).
