Fenerbahçe Medicana Women’s Volleyball Team wrapped up the regular season in first place after a commanding 3-0 victory over Aydın Büyükşehir Belediyesi in Round 26 of the Vodafone Sultanlar League. Playing at Mimar Sinan Sports Hall, Fenerbahçe secured their 23rd win, with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, and 25-23.
Fenerbahçe started strong with Eda Erdem, Aslı Kalaç, Ana Cristina, Bojana Drca, Melissa Vargas, Arina Fedorovtseva, and libero Gizem Örge on the court. Arina’s stellar performance led them to a 25-18 first-set win.
The second set was closely contested in the early stages, but Captain Eda Erdem took charge, guiding the team to a 25-20 victory and a 2-0 lead.
In the third set, Fenerbahçe quickly gained an 8-4 advantage with strong blocks, forcing Aydın into a timeout. The Yellow Angels maintained their momentum, securing the set 25-23 and completing a dominant sweep to finish the regular season at the top of the standings.
