Türkiye’s National Women’s Team officially begun their preparation camp in Antalya, setting the stage for the 2025 FIVB World Championship, which will be held in Thailand from August 22 to September 7.
The Antalya camp, expected to run through early August, will focus on physical training, tactical rehearsals, and team-building. As part of their program, Türkiye will take on Serbia’s national team in three friendly matches.
The current squad selected for the training camp includes a mix of experienced leaders and emerging talents:
- Setters: Dilay Özdemir, Cansu Özbay, Elif Şahin
- Opposite Hitter: Melissa Vargas
- Outside Hitters: Ebrar Karakurt, Hande Baladın, Yaprak Erkek, Derya Cebecioğlu, İlkin Aydın
- Middle Blockers: Eda Erdem Dündar (Captain), Zehra Güneş, Aslı Kalaç, Sinead Jack-Kısal
- Liberos: Gizem Örge, Eylül Akarçeşme Yatgın
