The SMS Grup Efeler Ligi continued with intense action in Round 2, as Halkbank triumphed over Galatasaray HDI Sigorta in straight sets (25-23, 25-20, 27-25) at the TVF Ziraat Bankkart Volleyball Hall.

Led by Radostin Stoytchev, Halkbank’s star players Matey Kaziyski and Tsvetan Sokolov delivered standout performances. Kaziyski scored 15 points with 61% attack efficiency, while Sokolov added 13 points and two aces. Cuban outside hitter Yoandy Leal contributed 11 points, helping seal the clean sweep before 3,000 spectators.
On the opposing side, Jean Patry and Stephen Maar led Galatasaray’s attack with 14 and 15 points, respectively. Despite their efforts, the Istanbul team couldn’t hold off Halkbank’s aggressive offense and strong blocking.

- And finally, Halkbank’s 3–0 triumph over Galatasaray HDI Sigorta.
