
Fenerbahçe Medicana claimed a 3–2 victory over Galatasaray Daikin in Istanbul, extending its unbeaten run to six matches in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi. In a nail-biting derby that lasted nearly three hours at the Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Arena, set scores ended 27-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-27 and 15-11.
Arina Fedorovtseva delivered a standout performance with 37 points, while Melissa Vargas added 32 and team captain Eda Erdem tallied 11.
In other matches, Nilüfer Belediyespor Eker handed Eczacıbaşı Dynavit a 3–1 defeat (28-30, 25-18, 25-22, 25-22). Despite winning a marathon first set, Eczacıbaşı struggled to maintain momentum. Emily Maglio shone early on, but Nilüfer’s consistency proved decisive as the home side dominated the final stages.
Defending champions VakıfBank continued their perfect run with a clean 3–0 sweep over Kuzeyboru (25-19, 25-16, 25-14). Marina Markova led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Tijana Boskovic with 13 and Helena Cazaute with 12. VakıfBank extended both its season win streak to six matches and its overall league streak to 17 consecutive victories.
