Players who led Trentino to the quarter-finals were Filippo Lanza and Martin Němec, with 18 points each.
Abel Bernal and Aleksandrs Kudrjašovs scored 9 points for Maccabi.
Another favorites placed themselves in the next round. Arkasspor İzmir won a battle against GFCA Volley-Ball Ajaccio.
French team beat the Turks in the first leg with 3-2, but Arkasspor was better in the return match in four sets.
Gavin Schmitt was unstoppable in the winning team with 33 points! Leonel Marshall added 21.
In Ajaccio, Jovica Simovski collected 20 and Brett Dailey had 13 points.
