Galatasaray – Chemes
The hosts had to stand some strong serving by their Slovakian opponents and even though in some cases Galata’s reception was not perfect, its players kept on going with their Czech spikers – the opposite Filip Rejlek (15) and a receiver Kamil Baránek (12).
Thus, paving the way for a 3-0 victory, waiting now for the return match coming up on January 20 in Slovakia.
Peter Mlynarčík with 11 and Miroslav Jakubov with 9 pts. were the best scorers in Chemes.
