Logroño – Béziers
The leader of the Spanish league (without a loss) Naturhouse Ciudad de Logroño was the favourite against fourt-placed in the standings in France, but was humiliated at home court.
Béziers won in straight sets, with partial 25-20, 25-23, 25-16 and now only a formality stands between its promotion into semifinals – a second leg in one week.
Bojana Marković had 15 while Ruth-Keao Burdine and Hélène Schleck scored 13 points for the French representative.
Daniella de Azevedo collected 12 points for Logroño. Helia González added 10.
