Experienced Cuban player will play in the Turkish Championship in the next season as well. According to voleybolextra.tr, Yusleyni Herrera Alvarez decided to extend the contract with Nilufer for one more season!
These are certainly fantastic news for all Nilufer fans, as Herrera was the best player of the team in the previous campaign. She was far the top scorer of the regular season and she helped her club to reach the 5th spot on the table. And, we will see more of Herrera in this season, as she will lead Nilufer in the Playoffs of the Turkish Championship. The opponent in the quarter-finals will be Galatasaray.
